When I first started hiking with my husband, he made me very nervous. He would just reach up, pull down a leaf and announce, "you have to try this; it is so sweet," as he gnawed away at the greens. In my family, I learned don’t pick anything in the forest, it could kill you! So this new attitude of the forest is a wide smorgasbord of goodness took some getting used to.
