Living about one hour from the nearest ocean beach, this weekend I was in desperate need of spending some time on the water. Seeing as the massive Lake Pontchartrain is only about four miles away, I delved into research on what sort of water activities one can do on a lake, in the fall. I stumbled upon the water sport of kiteboarding, which come to find out, is one of the most popular beach water sports that can also be done on a lake.
